I only shoot for magazine maximum three times a year. Why? Because I am not their favorite contributor. I’ve heard that most of them have complained that shooting with me always make them do more work. They have to prepare more props and wardrobe. They have to be more careful with the make-up. And so on. Plus, I usually demand to use my own concept, as I don’t see any other reason to shoot for a magazine if not for exploring my creativity more freely than my other commercial assignment. I think it’s a fair barter considering that I only get paid very little, if there is any payment at all.
This February issue of Female Magz is, as you know, the Valentine issue. The photo theme was about colors that represent feelings. Yellow for jealousy, blue for sadness etc. I believe the pictures speak more than my words. Enjoy.
Aku kok nangekepnya foto yang ke 2 itu berarti “cewek selalu minta porsi lebih besar daripada cowok” ya..? Hehe, sedangkan untuk foto ke 3, “Giliran nangis atau sedih, cewek pasti lebih drama dan minta dibesar2kan..” Am i right or am i right or am right..? HAHA..

picture number 5 reminds me to my fave colour. i think i should change it to yellow instead of green. i’m a big fat jeolus women.

i can understand the color mood before reading your text but what i don’t understand is the purple.. is it for luxurious? passion? lol. another excellent work, J! cheers!!

the purple one.. reminds me of your ‘Summer’, the green-dominant one.. with the ballet dancers. Well, anyway it’s a great idea to combine ur concept of Love with colours.
